Founder & Principal

Ben was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta in a rural agricultural community. Growing up in a small town, he was part of a close-knit, locally owned business community, where both his father and grandfather were hardworking community leaders. His father, an entrepreneur, founded a community bank in 2000 and served as its CEO for 15 years. During his summers, Ben worked hard cleaning pools and installing irrigation systems in cornfields, instilling in him a strong work ethic, resilience, and a deep set of values. He believes that clear values simplify decision-making and provide a solid foundation for leadership.

Ben began his career in public accounting at PwC, managing teams across multiple countries with a focus on strategic tax compliance planning and consulting for asset management clients. He earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, concentrating in Entrepreneurship, Economics, Behavioral Science, and Strategic Management. He also holds Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Taxation degrees from The University of Mississippi, and he is a licensed CPA in Illinois and Texas.

Currently, he lives in Dallas, TX with his wife, Makensie, and their golden retriever, Kirby. Ben enjoys traveling the world with his wife, exploring the Chicago and Dallas food scenes, watching movies, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen!
